The recipients of the 2015 Otto F. Dingeldein and Friend of the Arts awards will be announced by the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri at its Dingeldein Gala on Jan. 8. The reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the home of Dr. Sandra and Jerry McCearley in Jackson. Tickets for the gala are $25 a person and can be purchased through the Arts Council before the event or at the door. First Friday with the Arts continues in February

The next First Friday with the Arts will be held Feb. 5. The event, which features evening hours at the art galleries in and around downtown Cape Girardeau, is held every month of the year except in January.
