Cable guy schedules Cape Girardeau visit

@SL_body_copy_ragged:Redneck comedian Larry the Cable Guy will perform Feb. 12 at the Show Me Center as part of his "Eat Drink and Be Larry" tour. In 1991, Daniel Whitney cut off his sleeves and sullied up a camouflage hat to become the comedic sensation, Larry the Cable Guy. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Show Me Center Ticket Office and all Ticketmaster locations, online at Ticketmaster.com or by calling 651-5000. Tickets are $44, but Larry's own economic recovery plan will sell them at two for the price of one from 10 a.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Dec. 19.

Globetrotters bounce into town in 2009

On March 29 the Globetrotters' "Spinning the Globe" tour will stop at the Show Me Center. Tickets are $20, on sale now at the Show Me Center box office.

Folk duo records in front of live audience at KRCU

The Chicago-based group will start at 7 p.m. today and the session will later be broadcast on Your Folk Connection on KRCU 90.9 FM in Cape Girardeau and KSEF 88.9 FM Farmington, Mo. Columbia offers Missouri artists opportunity
