The inaugural I Love the '90s Tour invites attendees to reminisce about the trendsetting decade with some of the most iconic, indelible names in rap, hip-hop and R&B. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Show Me Center, 1333 N. Sprigg St. in Cape Girardeau. Featured artists will be All 4 One, Color Me Badd, Coolio, Salt N Pepa, Tone Loc and Young MC. Audiences can expect to hear chart-topping hits such as "Push It," "Shoop," "All 4 Love," "Funky Cold Medina," "Gangsta's Paradise" and more during a fun-filled night out that doubles as an arena-sized dance party. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $29.75, $49.75 or $69.75 depending on location and may be purchased at the Show Me Center box office or showmecenter.biz.
The Southeast Missouri State University Fall Bachelor of Fine Arts Graduating Seniors Exhibition will be shown in parts from Monday through Dec. 16. Various graduating student artists will present their work, ranging from specializations in ceramics, digital art, graphic design/illustration, painting, printmaking and sculpture. Receptions will be held for each part of the exhibition, scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 18, Dec. 2, 9 and 16 in the Art Gallery at the River Campus, 518 S. Fountain St. in Cape Girardeau.
Grammy Award-winning country-music artist John Berry will perform for his O' Holy Night Tour as part of the Music at St. Paul Concert Series at 6 p.m. Nov. 20 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 223 W. Adams St. in Jackson. The event is a benefit for Lutheran Family and Children's Services. Berry will play classic and original Christmas music, as well as many of his country hits.
