The River City Players' latest dinner theater production, "Twelve Angry Jurors," opens today at Port Cape's River City Yacht Club. The production is a jury-room drama that is based on a televised play that aired in the 1960s. This production will take place "in the round," allowing the audience members to feel like they are in the jury room with the jurors. Doors open at 6 p.m. today and the show starts at 8. Dinner theater dates also take place on Saturday and Oct. 15 and 16. 'Diary of Anne Frank' to feature free lecture Sunday

Southeast Missouri State University's production of "The Diary of Anne Frank" will be held at 8 p.m. today and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday. After Sunday's performance there will be a guest lecture by Holocaust survivor Felicia Graber of St. Louis. Graber's lecture is free and open to the public. Florida comedian to headline comedy show at Jeremiah's

Comedian Jeff Batts of Orlando, Fla., will be the headliner at a comedy show at Jeremiah's Saturday night. There will be shows at 8 and 10 p.m. Lady Carmen of Chicago, Ill., will be the emcee and J.T. Thomas, also of Chicago, will be the featured act. Batts has been described as a "one-night Saturday Night Live" and has appeared on Comedy Central, HBO and the Howard Stern Show.

Antique appraisers on hand Saturday in Cape Girardeau

The Historical Association of Cape Girardeau is holding the Glenn House Benefit Antique Appraisal from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Cape Career and Technology Center, 1080 S. Silver Springs Road. Eight appraisers from Ivey-Selkirk Galleries in St. Louis will be on hand to appraise furniture, fine arts such as paintings and prints, and decorative arts such as jewelry and glass. Antique and collectibles show at Arena Building Sunday

The Community Counseling Center Foundation of Cape Girardeau is sponsoring its semi-annual antique and collectibles show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the A.C. Brase Arena. It will feature a wide variety of antiques and collectibles from dealers in four states and all the proceeds from the event will go toward the foundation and be used to provide improved facilities, equipment and services for people with mental illness. Music academy concert at St. Vincent's

The Southeast Missouri Music Academy will hold its eighth annual Standing Ovation benefit concert at 5 p.m. Sunday in Old St. Vincent's Church. A tour of London's performing arts offered

Southeast Missouri State University's Department of Theatre and Dance is sponsoring a 10-day/eight-night study tour of London from Dec. 26 to Jan. 4, lead by theater and dance professor Dennis Seyer. An informational meeting about the trip will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the Grauel Building at the corner of Norman and Pacific Streets, room 316. The proposed itinerary includes round-trip airfare from St. Louis to Londaon, hotel transfers, breakfast, a seven-day tube pass, admission to theatrical and historical sights, a half day of London sightseeing, a day trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon and two performing arts events. Celebration of art history in Ste. Genevieve

Ste.
