The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri will hold its 44th Annual Arts and Crafts Extravaganza on Nov. 22 and 23 at the Osage Centre and Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau.
The show will feature more than 300 crafters from throughout the Midwest. Last year, an estimated 14,000 people attended at both locations.
Each booth must sell only handmade items and, as a requirement, must pass a rigorous inspection to participate. After inspection, judges will select and name one booth Best of Show at each location.
The selection includes homemade Christmas candies, fresh roasted nuts, holiday dips and sauces, honey, baked goods, homemade jelly and salsa and fudge as well as home décor that includes sculptures, framed original art and photography, handmade pottery, leather goods, gourmet dog treats and fashions, wearable art, wood items, toys, knitted, quilted and baby apparel, wreaths and table decorations and jewelry.
The show will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 22, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 23.
A single ticket provides admission to both locations. The cost is $5 for both days and $3 for Sunday only.
