‘America's Got Talent' begins at Harrah's

METROPOLIS, Ill. -- WPSD Local 6 and Harrah's Casino are joining forces to identify the area's most talented performers. Auditions for contestants for "America's Got Talent" will be held Saturday at Harrah's in Metropolis. The first 150 acts that sign up will audition. Call-backs will be held at 9 p.m. Sunday. The three winners of the Local 6 Talent Search will compete at the next audition to be held Jan. 14 and 15 in Austin, Texas. Those wishing to watch the acts may purchase tickets beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday. There will be three audition sessions, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. For more information about the auditions, go to www.wpsdlocal6.com.
