Open auditions for Sikeston production

SIKESTON, Mo. -- The second play of the 2009 season at the Sikeston Little Theatre will be the youth production of "The Secret Garden." Auditions will be at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. This production is limited to students in seventh through 12th grades. The play will run Nov. 5 to 8. Regional Juried Art Exhibition entries due

Entries for the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri's annual Regional Juries Art Exhibition are due Sept. 14. Artists, age 18 and older, who live within 175 miles of Cape Girardeau can submit works interpreting the people, places and things that represent this diverse region. Categories will include painting, 3-D, graphic and mixed media. Entry forms and submission details can be found on the arts council's website at www.capearts.org.
