Is anything worthwhile ever easy?
Fall is right around the corner. Everybody must adapt. Many love the changing seasons. I am one of these people. I can scarcely wait for the crisp air and early night fall. The logs in the fireplace beacon me to it's side. The chill in the air and sealed in atmosphere are comforting. They signify warmth.
That seems like a contradiction, but it isn't. Fall and winter bring family warmth. People are forced to stay in more and spend time together. The warm bed covers signify comfort and warmth.
These are my opinions. What are yours? Many people prefer warmth all year long. Regardless of which you prefer, there is some adjusting to do. And it isn't always easy.
Nothing that is worthwhile ever comes easy. I am presently launching my new book "Wisdom for the journey." It is fulfilling and a lot of work too but the joy outweighs the work. When I see people deriving pleasure and value from the book, all the toil that's gone into it is certainly worthwhile.c
Raising children is not an easy chore. However when you see them grow into wonderful responsible adults who add to society, you forget what went into making them that way.
Marriage is certainly less then easy. You might say, "They were just meant for each other," or, for some reason you may think. "They had no choice." Not true, people who stay together for the right reasons do so because they have made a commitment, forgive each other and try to get along. That doesn't mean they never encounter problems or argue. But they work at being a couple--and it isn't always easy.
So regardless of what you attempt, do not expect it to be easy. Put the effort into it that it deserves. Then you can take pride in your work and in yourself.
What is the hardest thing you have ever done. Was it worth what you put into it at the end? Comment and let me know.
Take care and God Bless
