Auburn Place Hotel & Suites opens in Cape Girardeau!

September 30, 2011- Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Midamerica Hotels Corporation, based in Cape Girardeau, officially opened the Auburn Place Hotel & Suites today. The 133-room hotel was previously the Victorian Inn & Suites. The hotel continues to be owned & operated by Midamerica Hotels Corporation with General Manager, Matt McDowell.

Auburn Place Hotel & Suites is a new name to the hotel market. Auburn Place will focus on providing business and leisure travelers with clean accommodations and professional service without the big hotel brand prices. The hotel even offers a 'Clean Room Guarantee'.

The new hotel name, signage and design are the result of a six-month long renovation. During the renovation work, the hotel redesigned the breakfast room with modern finishes & seating, installed new carpet in all guest rooms and public space, updated the lobby, created a new 'Suite Shop' for snacks, added scrambled eggs & sausage to the complimentary daily breakfast, eliminated all bed spreads and replaced with a triple-sheet system that is laundered between every guest stay and much more.

In addition to the new items, Auburn Place features many luxuries that make travelers feel at home.
