VonAmp Needs YOU for Battle of the Bands - 10/23/10

VonAmp will be the first band to take the stage at 6:00 p.m. in the Battle of the Bands Competition this Saturday, October 23rd 2010 in Pinckneyville, Illinois. We REALLY need our friends, family, and supporters to come out and cheer us on for this event since our score will rely heavily on the audience's response. If you can make it, we will personally thank you! Shout, cheer, and applaud for us whenever you can. You can cheer and applaud during our lead guitar solos - we don't mind at all. Contest: 2010 Mardi Gras Battle of the Bands

Where: S. Walnut Street by City Hall - Pinckneyville, IL

Our performance will be very close to City Hall on South Walnut Street in Pinckneyville, Illinois. The City Parking Lot will also be used for some contestants. As mentioned earlier, see our map at http://www.vonamp.com for directions.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ABOUT THE BATTLE AND HEAD EAST CONCERT:

Q: Is there a public admission charge for Battle of the Bands?

A: Of course not! Battle of the Bands is FREE ADMISSION. Every band will need their friends, fans, and supporters to attend!!!!! We highly encourage you to bring as many supporters as you can. Part of the bands' score is based on how well the audience responds to them.

Q: Will you have Head East Tickets available for purchase at the Battle of the Bands Competition?

A: Yes! We encourage you all to attend the Battle of the Bands this Saturday on October 23rd at 6:00 p.m. And we're hoping you will also come out to the Head East Concert on October 28th where you can enjoy a beer and a great show at the Perry County Fairgrounds Pavillion. The show will feature Head East and the winner of Battle of the Bands.

Q: What happens in the event of rain?

A: In the event of rain, we have reserved the Illinois Rural Heritage Museum for Battle of the Bands. The IRH is at Perry County fairgrounds close to the grandstand (for those of you familiar with the area, it was formerly Morton Buildings). We will have signs up all over town in the event that it is moved to the IRH.
