Thank you foxyleo. We have many flowers and bushes to attract these butterflys. Right now is a great time to capture pictures of them. Dee

What a beautiful pic! I've been seeing several butterflies lately too, but haven't been able to capture this kind of beauty with my camera! Thanks for posting!

cinbad, you (CAN) capture pics like this. Shoot early morning or very late afternoon. If you have a digital camera, just shoot,shoot,shoot. You may take twenty before you get one that you like. If you have to crop, do it on your computer. a great web site is phototuts.com?? It is very helpful for shooting strategy and information. Thanks for the compliment. Dee
