The article about "Praying with the Enemy" really spoke to my heart about the compassion of Christ shown through the Rev. Gerecke to the Nazi war criminals. Throughout his life he showed the same compassion Jesus did. Thank you for the insightful story, and thanks to former police chief Gerecke for sharing with us. Jesus truly does forgive the worst sinners; we only have to truly repent...
