Soldier grateful for thoughts, prayers

To the editor:

At this special time of year most of us are blessed that we can give and not forget. What I mean in giving is of yourself or contribute to those less fortunate, and for us not to forget the men and women who lost their lives for our freedom. Pray for them and their families at this special time of year. I am currently serving in Iraq and want to thank all my family and friends for myself and my family for the thoughts and prayers.
