LETTERS: LANDOWNER IS CLASSY LADY WITH GENUINE CONCERNS
To the editor: The headline on Sam Blackwell's July 3 article starts with "Balky landowner ... ." This is disrespectful of Pam Owens, a 78-year-old grandmother who has worked hard for what she has. She is a classy lady concerned about her land and trees -- not a mule. I'm proud of my aunt and dismayed that your paper would be so insulting. Once again, you exhibit poor writing and judgment. Your one-sided viewpoints may be journalism, but not good journalism...
