Individual responsibility
"Soak the rich" is a simplistic notion. Even though Luke 12:48 says "to whom much has been given, of him shall much be required," in the spirit of Thanksgiving it suggests individual responsibility from top to bottom. It would seem that participation to the comparative individual supply would be the rational course for members of an orderly democratic republic...
