Get well soon, Dstroy Orbison!
Posted Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at 4:10 PMOne fact about roller derby is that regardless of the precautions taken, it's still a full-contact sport, and we suffer lots of injuries. We train ourselves to fall and hit certain ways, we wear protective gear, we condition our muscles and train on footwork to be able to respond without having to think about each move. But sometimes things still can go wrong... -

"Oh, like that movie 'Whip It'?!"
Posted Friday, October 14, 2011, at 7:21 PM"Is it like old-time derby on a banked track?" "That gets pretty rough, doesn't it?" "It's kind of like pro wrestling on skates!" Hittin' the road
Posted Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at 4:00 PMThe Cape Girardeau Roller Girls are headed over to Paducah, Ky., this weekend to play the West Kentucky Rockin' Rollers in Jamfomers: Derbots in Disguise. In a game where you can score more than a dozen points in a jam, 6 points is definitely a close one...
