Guardian Angel School celebrated Beta Week from April 17-21 with lots of activities and fun times. The week's theme was "Power Up to Lead". It was even more special since it was kindergarten week, too.

Monday brought a dress down day and an extra recess for pre-k - 8th grade. Beta paid $1 per student that dressed down and donated the money to our 4th quarter mission, Life House of Catholic Charities. Before school was dismissed, the 5th-8th grade (Beta Club) did a spring clean on the playground. The theme on Monday was "Power Up to Serve".

"Power Up to Read" was Tuesday's theme. The Beta members read to the younger students and practiced math with them. It was also a wild & crazy hat day after Mass time.

On Wednesday, the Beta theme was "Power Up to Achieve". Everyone could dress as a twin &/or have crazy hair. They also played bingo for some terrific prizes.

Adisyn and Kasyn Seabaugh practiced math skills with some of the pre-k students on Tuesday of Beta Week.

"Power Up to Motivate" was Thursday's theme. The students were encouraged to wear red, black, or white uniform polo shirts (school colors) to show their school pride. It was a no homework day and they had an extra recess. Those are pretty good motivation techniques.

The last day's theme was "Power Up to Work Hard" The students and staff were encouraged to dress as a favorite superhero or a favorite character from a movie or book. The school was full of princesses, superheroes, and book characters. In the afternoon they all enjoyed relay races.
