Todd Rushing, of The Rushing Family Trust, presents a $1,300 donation to Becki Arends, District Manager of Junior Achievement in Southeast Missouri. Commemorating the lives of C.W. "Woody" and Evelyn Rushing, the mission of The Rushing Family Trust is to make a positive difference in the lives of disadvantaged women and children, and others with extraordinary needs. Funding for this donation came as a result of the 16th Annual Captain Woody Rushing Golf Tournament that was held at Kimbeland Country Club in Jackson, Missouri. A total of $12,000 will be donated to 19 charities from the 2014 tournament.

Junior Achievement supports our Southeast Missouri schools and educators by providing valuable kindergarten through high school classroom resources that are well-tested, hands-on programs taught by caring community and business volunteers. JA's programs focus on basic concepts of economics and show how education is relevant to the workplace. The sequential activities foster lifelong learning and help students make informed, intelligent decisions about their future.
