This story has two photos. I'll attach the second one in a moment. Thanks

When Franklin Elementary Teacher Elizabeth Speicher assigned a letter-writing exercise to her 4th-grade class she wasn't optimistic that her students would actually receive a reply from the famous Walt Disney character, Mickey Mouse. But they did! "I was really surprised," said Ms. Speicher, an enthusiastic teacher who is completing her first year of teaching at Cape Public Schools. The assignment was to write a friendly letter to their favorite Walt Disney character. "The children wrote some beautiful letters. It was a fun project and we learned a lot about letter writing," the teacher explained. In addition to a hand-written reply from Mickey, which Ms. Speicher read to her class, each child received an autographed greeting card. Pictured displaying their cards and letter from Mickey are Ms. Speicher and members of her class. Also pictured are three examples of letters the children wrote to their favorite Disney characters.
