Oak Ridge FBLA State Qualifiers

FBLA Members at District Competition

February 19 all 26 FBLA members attended the annual district 15 competition. Throughout the day when students were not testing, there were games and workshops for the students to participate in. Those that placed in the top 10 were: Breanna McCllelan 3rd in Accounting, Caleb Elam 5th in Accounting, Emily Ruch 9th in Business Calculations, Savannah Aldredgre, Rae Ann Haven, and Dillon Myers 3rd in Business Ethics, Richard Stewart and Erin Owens 5th in Business Presentation, Alina Fox 2nd in Client Service, Shianne Knepper 1st in Computer Applications, Shelby Proctor 10th in Cyber Security, Shianne Knepper 3rd in Cyber Security, Lauren Meyer and Kali Myers 4th in Desktop Publishing. Kirsten Johnston and Stacey Roberts 3rd in Entrepreneurship, Richard Stewart 1st in Help Desk, Emily Ruch and Tyler Lappe 1st in Management Information Systems, Savannah Aldredge 8th in Marketing, Brandon Pleimann 10 in Marketing, Stephen Bolen 2nd in Networking Concepts, Garret Light 1st in Networking Concepts, Mattie Jo 8th in Personal Finance, Kaycie Seyer 6th in Public Speaking II, Brett Thomas 2nd in Sports Management, Olive Bert 9th in Sports Management, Logan Mangels 5th in Spreadsheet Solutions, Richard Stewart 4th in Word Processing II. Kaycie Seyer was elected District 15 Regional Secretary for the 2010-2011 FBLA year.

Seven members qualified for state!! Garret Light, Stephen Bolen, Brett Thomas, Tyler Lappe, Richard Stewart, Shianne Knepper, and Emily Ruch qualified and will be competing at FBLA State in April. Good Luck!
