Marble Hill Optimist Supporting Youth In Our Community

On September 12, 2009, 6:00 p.m., as you drive through Marble Hill, you will see the lights coming from the horse arena located on Highway 34 West in the heart of Marble Hill! You will see horse trailers, horses and riders, out and about ready to give everything they have in the monthly horse show put on by The Marble Hill Optimist Club.

This is one of the few horse shows left in the area and the participants enjoy coming to compete in this event. There are point prizes at the end of the season and if you are a horse enthusiast..you will find everything from "Lead Line" for the youngest of riders to Barrel Racing, Pee Wee Poles, Gaited and Western Pleasure, just to name a few of the events.

The Marble Hill Optimist Club uses the proceeds from these shows (6 per year) to support youth activities from "the acedemic to sports". The Optimist try to keep activities for all youth going throughout the year.

Come out and join the fun or just come out and watch. Concessions are available at each show. A $2.00 gate fee applies per person over the age of 12 years.
