2nd Annual Lyndon's Shining Light

Lyndon's Shining Light was hosted in Kiwanis Park by local photographers, providing free portrait photography sessions to special-needs families on October 23, 2016.

Local photographer Laura Schumpert takes a portrait of Elise Widner. Laura Schumpert started the event to honor the memory of her son, Lyndon, and to help families of special-needs children.

The Lyndon's Shining Light Event lasted two hours and provided photo sessions for over 60 children.

Sherry Rust captures a portrait of Gavynn Belk at Kiwanis Park.

Lyndon's Shining Light also provided the children with a gift following their portrait sessions.

This was the second year that local photographers have participated in Lyndon's Shining Light.
