Puzzle Run for Autism Awareness Presents check to Mississippi Valley Therapeutic Horsemanship

On August 5, 2017, there was a "Puzzle Run" for Autism Awarness hosted at Lawless Harley Davidson. The riders made various stops thruought Southeast Missouri on their motorcycles, including Mississippi Valley Therapeutic Horsemanship in Oak Ridge, MO. Jon Peterson and Angela Peters founded this fundraiser and all of the proceeds were donated to Mississippi Valley Therapeutic Horsemanship.

On August 12, 2017, some of the riders for the Puzzle Run came to Mississippi Valley Therapeutic Horsemanship to present a check for the funds they raised. Jon Peterson, Jessica Peterson, Alex Peterson, and Landyn Gaines (9) from Jackson came to MVTH to present the check.

Representing Mississippi Valley Therapeutic Horsemanship were Jodie Brunke, Executive Director, and Varina Luttrull, Program Director. Ron, Nancy, and Pierce Robertson from Cape Girardeau were also present. Pierce Robertson (27) has been a part of Mississippi Valley Therapeutic Horsemanship for three years. He participates in horse therapy to work on several issues he has with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Pierce says "Riding Ranger helps me think better. I feel comfortable and enjoy riding horses."
