Southeast SportsCare partnered with the Jackson High School fall sports teams to create "Champions Against Cancer Week," which was held Sept. 26 -- 30, to raise money for the fight against cancer and help fund the school's fall sports programs. Nearly $3,500 was raised from the sale of "Champions Against Cancer" t-shirts and other fundraisers. Of that amount, more than $1,300 has been donated to the Southeast Cancer Center. Jackson High School coaches and Southeast SportsCare recently presented the check to the SoutheastHEALTH Foundation as student athletes and SportsCare staff looked on.
