Best bet: Mike Renick Band performs two shows

The Mike Renick Band will keep it close to home this weekend with a two-night gig at Buckner Brewing Co. The band has a few new songs it's testing out on audiences, like "Last Call," which flows seamlessly into its musical repertoire. Buckner's has room enough to bounce around the dance floor -- which dozens of people inevitably do -- or enjoy a microbrew toward the back of the bar where you can chat. Play starts around 9:30 p.m. both nights...
