Best Bet: Flip the Switch Kickoff Party planned in Jackson

A party to celebrate the flipping of the switch to turn on the holiday-light display in Jackson City Park will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today in the park, off West Independence Street in Jackson. The lighting ceremony will begin at 5:15 p.m., and the switch will be near the footbridge. The event also will include wagon rides, games, crafts and food vendors.
