From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday the Missouri Department of Conservation's Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center encourages bird enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates the hummingbird to come out for its hummingbird celebration. This is the peak migration season of the ruby-throated hummingbird. Experts will band birds until noon, and activities are offered throughout the event. No registration is required.
