Sara Beth Yingling and Jesse Brandon Saupe were united in marriage June 4, 2005, at La Croix United Methodist Church. The Rev. Rennie Phillips performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Trio Girardeaux.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. David Yingling of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Strong of Cape Girardeau and Rick Saupe of Jackson.

Maid of honor was Heather Shirley of Johnson City, N.Y., cousin of the bride. Matron of honor was Meghan Buhs of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ashli Sandusky of Cape Girardeau; Jennifer Shirley of Johnson City, cousin of the bride; Amber Saupe and Brandi Strong of Cape Girardeau, sisters of the groom.

Brent Lewis of Jackson was best man. Groomsmen were Dusty Roberts and Mike Burgess of Cape Girardeau; Michael Yingling of Arnold, Mo., brother of the bride; Allan Lancaster of Jackson; and Daniel Yingling of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride. Ushers were Michael Buhs of Cape Girardeau, brother-in-law of the bride; Robert Shirley of Johnson City, uncle of the bride; and Neil Prater of Jackson, uncle of the groom.

Candlelighters were Deanna and Dana Johnston of Jackson, cousins of the groom.

Flower girl was Madeline Johnston, daughter of Deanna Johnston and cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Trenton Sandusky, son of Ashli Sandusky.

Carla Prater of Danville, Ky., aunt of the groom, attended the guest book.

The reception was held at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 3 at Drury Lodge.

Mrs. Saupe received a bachelor of general studies degree in December 2004. She is a substitute teacher for Cape Girardeau School District.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School.

The couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
