Sharon Denise Wright and Travis Richard McClain were married Oct. 27, 2007, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo. The Rev. Oliver Clavin performed the ceremony. Organist was Diane Essner of Cape Girardeau, and soloist was Ellen Seyer of Kelso.
The bride is the daughter of Brian and Delissa Goecke of Booneville, Miss. The groom is the son of Beth and the late Richie McClain of Kelso, and Ron and Cecelia Kee of Cape Girardeau.
Matron of honor was Tracy Carman of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Stacy Hall of East Prairie, Mo.; Trina Roberts of Perryville, Mo.; Amy Smiley of Paducah, Ky., cousin of the groom; and Kasie Ralls of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom.
John Carman of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Eric Beussink of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom; Chris Roberts of Perryville; Daniel Smiley of Paducah; and Alan Weber of Kelso, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Andy Ralls, brother-in-law of the groom, and J.P. Beussink, cousin of the groom, both of Cape Girardeau, and Geoff Hannan of Karnak, Ill., stepbrother of the groom.
Candlelighters were Alison Beussink of Cape Girardeau and Brent McClain of Kelso, cousins of the groom.
Miniature bride was Makayla Goecke, sister of the bride. Miniature groom was Braden Carman, son of John and Tracy Carman and cousin of the groom.
Flower girl was Zoe German, daughter of Joe and Keisha German of Springfield, Mo., niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Landen Carman, son of John and Tracy Carman and cousin of the groom.
Charlene Weber, aunt of the groom, attended the guest book.
The dinner and dance reception was held at St. Augustine School.
Beth McClain hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 26 at Ray's of Kelso.
Mrs. McClain is a 2003 graduate of Perryville High School. She is attending Southeast Missouri State University and Paducah Technical College, pursuing a degree in sonography. She is employed at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. He is employed with McClain Roofing.
After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., and Honolulu, Hawaii, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
