BENTON, Mo. -- Christina Jo Wright and Brian Glen James were married June 12, 2010, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. David Hulshof performed the ceremony. Vocalist was Jimmy Tankersley of Chaffee, Mo., cousin of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Jo Ann Easter of Benton and Alan Wright of Commerce, Mo. The groom is the son of LaVonne McKinnon of Union, Mo., and Junior James of Jackson.

Matron of honor was Jeannie DeVault of Benton, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaid was Katherine Easter of Benton, sister of the bride.

Cody Koehler of Marble Hill, Mo., was best man. Groomsman was Tyler Thompson of Marble Hill. Ushers were Nathan Hawkins of Benton, and Jacob and Noah James, sons of the groom.

Candlelighters were Tara Newell of Marble Hill and Jamie Palen of Jackson.

Flower girl was Vanessa Adams, cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Jonah James, son of the groom.

The reception was held at the American Legion Hall in Benton.

The mothers of the bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner at Ryan's Family Steakhouse in Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. James is a 1996 graduate of Kelly High School, and 2000 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed by state of Missouri.

The groom is a 1990 graduate of Washington High School. He served four years active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps, and seven years with the 1140th Combat Engineers of Missouri National Guard. He is a mechanic with Craftsman Trailer.

After a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple is residing in Benton.
