LEOPOLD, Mo. — Courtney Leigh Wesbecher and Matthew Frederick Beussink were married Jan. 5, 2008, at St. John's Catholic Church. The Rev. Thomas Kiefer performed the ceremony. Acolytes were D.J. Keim and Joseph Elfrink, nephews of the groom. Lectors were Nancy Keim and Ann Glass, sisters of the groom.

Eucharistic ministers were Angie Landwee of Leopold, Lisa Landewee of Thompson Station, Tenn., cousins of the bride, and Diana McWilliams stationed in Italy, niece of the groom.

Organist was Alissa Vandeven. Soloists were Jill Bollinger, cousin of the bride, and Stan Seiler. Saxophonist was Eric McGowen, cousin of the bride, and guitarists were Elaine Stroder, Leeann Jansen and Sharon Van de Ven. The church choir also sang.

Parents of the bride are Ronnie and Pam Wesbecher of Leopold. The groom is the son of Fred and Betty Beussink of Leopold.

Matron of honor was Kelly Schreiner of Marble Hill, Mo., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Holly Hoesli of Cape Girardeau; Jill Bollinger of Kennett, Mo., cousin of the bride; Anna Nenninger of Peoria, Ill., Traci Stoverink of Marble Hill, and Melinda Trankle of Edwardsville, Ill. Junior bridesmaid was Sara Glass of Bartlett, Tenn., niece of the groom.

Tyson Bollinger of Kennett, cousin of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Calvin Horrell of Festus, Mo.; Dax Tobin of Idaho; Adam Landewee of Leopold, cousin of the bride; Brian Holzum of Cape Girardeau; and Cole Wesbecher of Leopold, brother of the bride. Junior groomsman was Andrew McWilliams of Leopold, godchild of the groom. Ushers were Andy Landewee, cousin of the bride, and Chris McWilliams, nephew of the groom, both of Leopold; Stuart Beussink, cousin of the groom, and Brent Schreiner, brother-in-law of the bride, both of Marble Hill.

Candlelighters were Abby Landewee and Shelby Vandeven, cousins of the bride; Ashley Keim and Emily Elfrink, nieces of the groom, all of Leopold.

Flower girl was Allison Glass of Bartlett, niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Simon Elfrink of Leopold, nephew of the groom.

Wendy Vandeven and Kristi McGowen of Cape Girardeau, cousins of the bride, attended the guest book. Programs were handed out by Evan Landewee of Leopold, cousin of the bride; Zach Elfrink of Leopold and Josh Glass of Bartlett, nephews of the groom.

Giftbearers were Gary and Kim Vandeven of Leopold, godparents of the bride; Joan McWilliams and Julie Elfrink of Leopold, sisters and godparents of the groom.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Servers were Glenda Landewee and Nancy Landewee, aunts of the bride; Sandy Beussink, Shirley Brotherton, Amanda Woods, Jill Begley, Becky Seiler, Barbara Macke, Erin Woodfin, Kelli Woodfin, Molly Brotherton and Katelyn Brotherton.

The groom's family hosted the rehearsal dinner Jan. 4.

Mrs. Beussink is a graduate of Leopold High School. She attended Southeast Missouri State University, and expects to graduate in May 2010 with a doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Missouri School of Dentistry in Kansas City.

The groom is a graduate of Leopold High School. He received a bachelor's degree in industrial technology from Southeast. He is employed by Interconnect Devices in Kansas City, Kan.

After a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple is residing in Overland Park, Kan.
