Jamie Nicole Welter and Jonathan Allen Market were married Aug. 8, 2009, at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson. The Rev. John Harth performed the ceremony. Organist was Geri Beussink and vocalists were Jane Oehl and Mike Kohlfeld, all of Jackson.

Parents of the couple are Paul and Cheryl Welter of Benton, Mo., and Kevin and Cheryl Market of Jackson.

Matron of honor was Jaclyn Scott of Sikeston, Mo., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Nicole Market of Jackson, sister of the groom; Leslie Seyer of Benton; and Jordanna Meyer of Perryville, Mo.

Tony Longman and Tim Miller of Jackson were best men. Groomsmen were Trent Essner and Wade Cramer of Jackson, and Adam Glueck of New Hamburg, Mo. Ushers were Paul Scott of Sikeston, brother-in-law of the bride, and Cole Humphrey of Jackson.

Candlelighters were Jessica Pool, cousin of the bride, and Jackie Tatum, both of Cape Girardeau.

Flower girls were Sarah Lawson and Courtney Tatum. Sarah is the daughter of Allan and Linda Lawson of Fenton, Mo. Courtney is the daughter of Jackie Tatum. Ringbearers were Trey and Colin Scott, sons of Paul and Jaclyn Scott and nephews of the bride.

A dinner and dance reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 7 at the church fellowship hall.

Mrs. Market received a degree in dietetics from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Jackson Healing Arts in Jackson.

The groom received a degree in respiratory therapy from Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. He is employed at Lincare in Cape Girardeau.

After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is residing in Jackson.
