Terra Dawn Wright and Roger L. Aufdenberg exchanged vows July 29, 2000, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Jackson, Mo. The Rev. Don Reder performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Wanda Aufdenberg of Gordonville, Mo., soloist was Jane Oehl of Oak Ridge, Mo., and guitarist was David James of Jackson.
Parents of the couple are Robert and Donna James of Cape Girardeau, and Leon and Donna Aufdenberg of Burfordville, Mo.
Melanie McCormack of Jackson was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Marcie McCormack of Jackson, Chelsea Howell of St. Charles, Mo., Robin Rose of Jackson, and Debbie Aufdenberg of Cape Girardeau.
Best man was James Aufdenberg of Burfordville. Groomsmen were John Aufdenberg of Burfordville, Scott Aufdenberg and Eric Hinkebein of Jackson, Brad Smith of Oak Ridge, and Todd Sides of Jackson. Ushers were Ralph James of Jackson, Mark James of Cape Girardeau, Tom Sachse of Friedheim, Mo., and Andy Cook of Burfordville.
Candlelighters were Brian Aufdenberg of Jackson and Luke Aufdenberg of Burfordville.
Flower girl was Mallory James, daughter of Dennis and Karen James of Leopold. Ringbearer was Bret Heuer, son of Jeff and Sara Heuer of Cape Girardeau.
Cassie Essner of Kelso attended the guest book. Programs were handed out by Casey Dickerson and Ashley Smith of Jackson.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Servers were Denise and Liz Aufdenberg of Burfordville, Anita Essner of Kelso, and Millie Wolfenkoehler of Jackson.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 28 at the KC Hall.
Mrs. Aufdenberg received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in May. She is a registered nurse at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Okla.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Southeast in 1999. He plans to attend law school at the University of Tulsa.
The couple resides in Broken Arrow, Okla.
