GORDONVILLE, Mo. -- Kristin Nicole Wessel and Gregory Wayne Farmer exchanged vows Oct. 28, 2000, at First Baptist Church in Jackson, Mo. The Rev. Carter Frey performed the double ring ceremony. Organist and pianist was Pat Palisch of Jackson, and soloist was Linda Mahy of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the bride are Jack and Sue Wessel of Gordonville. The groom is the son of Regina Farmer of Bonaire, Ga., and the late retired Col. James Z. Farmer.
Maid of honor was Jennifer Crisp of Louisville, Ky. Bridesmaids were Beth Boyer of Godfrey, Ill., Christy Etherington of St. Louis, Angela Gooder of Lexington, Ky., and Amy Speight of Jackson, Tenn.
Drew Dickerson of Louisville served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Keith Brandon of Nevada, Mo., Bryan Casey of Louisville, Matthew Langston of Lexington, and Todd Wessel of Gordonville, brother of the bride. Ushers were Jude Dant of Louisville and Brian Cook of McKenzie, Tenn.
Flower girl and ringbearer were Emma and Brent Wessel, children of Chris and Rhonda Wessel of Cape Girardeau and cousins of the bride.
Guest book attendants were Jamie Wessel and Beth Gile, cousins of the bride, and Vanessa Capps.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Enchanted Gardens in Jackson. Servers were Rhonda and Linda Wessel and Jan Gile, aunts of the bride.
The groom's family hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 27 at High Street Station in Jackson.
Mrs. Farmer received a bachelor of arts degree in public relations from Murray State University in Murray, Ky. She is a support analyst.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering technology. He is a field inspector.
The couple resides in Indianapolis, Ind.
