Danielle Dawn Welker and Robert Lane Lummus exchanged vows July 8, 2000, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Milton Ryan performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Cheryl Oberhaus of Cape Girardeau. Soloists were Angie Mather of St. Louis and Alan Bruns of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the couple are Brad and Sharon Welker and Jim and Linda Lummus, all of Cape Girardeau.
Stacey Elfrink of Cape Girardeau was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Powers of Cape Girardeau, Emily McClelland of Manhattan, Kan., Amy Emmenderfer of Jackson, Mo., Shanna Brueckner of St. Louis, and Shanda Underwood of Cape Girardeau.
The groom chose his brother, Lee Lummus of St. Louis, as best man. Groomsmen were Todd Ellis and Bryan Welker, brother of the bride, both of Cape Girardeau, Jason Emmenderfer of Jackson, Mark Brueckner of St. Louis, and Craig Guth of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Brian Brune, Rex Crosnoe and Lynn Lester, all of Cape Girardeau, and Todd Koch of Coon Rapids, Minn. Crosnoe and Koch were also candlelighters.
Flower girl was Hannah Welker, daughter of John and Missy Welker of Moberly, Mo., and cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Brennen Lummus, son of Lee and Monica Lummus and nephew of the groom.
Brandi Wood of Huntsville, Texas, cousin of the groom, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Enchanted Gardens in Jackson.
The couple's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 7 at Enchanted Gardens.
Mrs. Lummus is a graduate of Central High School, and received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a registered nurse in the Coronary Care Unit at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
The groom is a graduate of Central High School, and attended Southeast University. He is a supervisor with United Parcel Service in Farmington, Mo.
After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple resides in Farmington.
