Concordia Lutheran Church in Kirkwood, Mo., was the setting June 3, 2000, for the wedding of Gayle Anne Weiss and Brian Richardson. The Rev. Vernon Gunderman performed the double ring ceremony.

Paul and Marion Weiss of Cape Girardeau are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Merlin Richardson and Mary Miller of St. Louis.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father.

Tracie Wagganer of St. Louis was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Smith of Cape Girardeau and Lisa Hoff of Edwardsville, Ill., sisters of the bride.

Best man was Jason Harlow of St. Louis. Groomsmen were Mark Richardson of Columbus, Ohio, brother of the groom, and Thieu Deng of Portland, Ore.

Flower girl was Loren Mier of Cape Girardeau, niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Nicholas Hoff of Edwardsville, nephew of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Royale Orleans in St. Louis.

Mrs. Richardson is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is a merchandise coordinator at Famous-Barr/L.S. Ayres.

The groom expects to graduate in May from Washington University with a degree in electrical engineering. He is employed at Boeing Co.

The couple resides in St. Louis.
