FROHNA, Mo. -- Kelly Kay Stueve and Wesley Allen Colbert exchanged wedding vows April 15, 2000, at Concordia Lutheran Church. The Rev. Wayne Palmer performed the double ring ceremony. Organist and pianist was Nelda Koeberl of Frohna. Vocalists were Ken Steffens of Cape Girardeau, uncle of the bride, and Peggy Scholl of Frohna.
Clifford and Kathy Stueve of Frohna are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Gordon "Ken" and Norma Colbert of New Melle, Mo.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father.
Jessica Stueve of Arnold, Mo., sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brenda Molitor of Marthasville, Mo.; Terri Wachter of New Wells, Mo., cousin of the bride; Michelle Molitor of Defiance, Mo.; and Shelly Steffens of Jefferson City, Mo., cousin of the bride.
Best men were Dale Carver and Steve Molitor of Marthasville. Groomsmen were Gordon Colbert Jr. of O'Fallon, Mo., brother of the groom; Cory Stueve of Arnold, brother of the bride; and Mike Colbert of New Melle, brother of the groom. Ushers were Jeff Molitor of Defiance, Dan Molitor, Gary Huddleston and Jason Collier of Marthasville.
Flower girl was Logan Welker, daughter of Steve and Sherry Welker of Cape Girardeau. She was escorted by Jacob Stueve, son of Cory and Jessica Stueve and nephew of the bride. Ringbearers were Lance and Austin Colbert, sons of Gordon and Becky Colbert and nephews of the groom.
Deanna Leimbach of Columbia, Mo., attended the guest book. Becky Koenig of Farrar, Mo., was program attendant.
Following the ceremony, a reception and dance was held at the American Legion Hall in Perryville, Mo. Servers were Cindy and Vicki Wachter of New Wells, cousins of the bride, and Debbie Mudd of Silex, Mo., cousin of the groom.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner April 8 at the VFW Hall in New Melle.
Mrs. Colbert is a graduate of Perryville High School and of St. Louis Community College. She is employed in the human resources division at Edward Jones in St. Louis.
The groom is a graduate of Francis Howell High School and the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is a team leader in the operations division of Edward Jones.
After a cruise to Grand Cayman and to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple is residing in Foristell, Mo.
