Cassi Stehr and Jorg Weissflog were married Sept. 16, 2000, in Charlotte, N.C. Jim Kallam performed the double ring ceremony. Vocalist was John Blizzard. A string quartet comprised of Jane Hart, Leigh Marsh, Martha Geissler and John Cloer provided music.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stehr of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Elvira Weissflog of Houston, Texas.

Maid of honor was Stephanie Stone of St. Louis. Matrons of honor were Teri Hinkebein of Charlotte and Staci Johnson of Raleigh, N.C., sisters of the bride.

Thilo Weissflog served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were John Hicks and Bob Borochoff. Ushers were Hans Brindley and Steven Watkins.

Scripture was read by Laura Michaud of Belle Rive, Ill. Programs were handed out by Amanda Hinkebein, niece of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a buffet and dance was held at Piper Glen Tournament Players Club in Charlotte.

The groom's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 15 at Ethan's Restaurant.

Mrs. Weissflog is a graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She is an account supervisor at TLP.

The groom attended the University of Houston. He is an investment counselor at First Charter Brokerage Services.

After a wedding trip to Greece and London, the couple is residing in Charlotte.
