JACKSON -- Michelle Dawn Sander and Jeremy Michael Hohler were united in marriage Sept. 25, 1999, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The Rev. David Johnson performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Pat Palisch and soloist was Cheryl Fortner, both of Jackson.
Parents of the bride are James K. and Karen Sander of Jackson. The groom is the son of Kevin and Judy Day of Cape Girardeau and Robert and Tracey Hohler of Allgood, Tenn.
Lori Schoenberger of Cheyenne, Wyo., sister of the groom, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Michelle Welker of Jackson; Karen Campbell of Oak Ridge; Brittney McDowell and Leigha LaPierre of Jackson, the latter two cousins of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Kara Sewing of Ballwin, cousin of the bride.
The groom chose Joe Grojean of Cape Girardeau as best man. Groomsmen were Mike Schoenberger of Cheyenne, brother-in-law of the groom; Mike Loomis of Cape Girardeau, Donny Brady of Millersville, and Shawn Koenig of Jackson. Junior groomsman was Robbie Hohler of Allgood, brother of the groom. Ushers were Donny Brady and Shawn Koenig.
Candlelighters were Brittney McDowell and Leigha LaPierre.
Flower girl was Jamie Brugger, daughter of Rick and Robin Brugger of Jackson and cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Houston Schoenberger, son of Mike and Lori Schoenberger and nephew of the groom.
Harriet Puchbauer of Jackson, aunt of the bride, attended the guest book. Becky Sewing of Ballwin, aunt of the bride, handed out programs.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Servers were Lisa Craft, cousin of the bride, Susan LaPierre, aunt of the bride, both of Jackson; Harriet Puchbauer, Becky Sewing, and Karen Hoffman of Cape Girardeau, aunt of the groom.
The groom's mother and stepfather hosted the rehearsal dinner at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
Mrs. Hohler is a 1991 graduate of Jackson High School. She is employed at Orthopaedic Associates in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a 1994 graduate of Central High School. He is manager at Campus Auto and Tire in Cape Girardeau.
After a wedding trip to Marco Island, Fla., the couple resides in Jackson.
