JACKSON, Mo. -- Lauren Michelle Raney and Stephen Jeremy O'Neal were married June 3, 2000, at First Baptist Church. Dr. Rodney H. Travis of Ellisville, Mo., and Dr. Carson Bevil of Owensboro, Ky., performed the ceremony.
Pianist was Laura Robinson of Jackson; organist was Dr. John Sellars of Memphis, Tenn., uncle of the bride; flutist was Stephen O'Neal, father of the groom; and violinist was Chris O'Neal, brother of the groom. Soloists were Christy Vandiver of Murray, Ky., and the Rev. Jim Raney, father of the bride. Accompanist was Natalie Yahnig of Murray.
The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Jim Raney of St. Charles, formerly of Jackson. Mr. and Mrs. Stephen J. O'Neal of Hopkinsville, Ky., are parents of the groom.
Maid of honor was Kelly Sparks of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Amanda Seyer and Rebekah Stephens of Jackson, Kelly Purcell and Michelle Crouse of Murray.
Shane Pickerill of Murray was best man. Groomsmen were Michael Carter, Brenden Couchman, Brian Finch, and Chris O'Neal. Ushers and candlelighters were Adrian Raney of Tucson, Ariz., brother of the bride, and Chris O'Neal.
Flower girl was Ashley Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Robinson of Jackson.
Assisting with the guest book and reception were Courtney and Meredith Atchison of College Grove, Tenn., Melissa Pratt of Dyer, Tenn., Angela Sellars of Little Rock, Ark., and Rebecca Sellars of West Memphis, Ark., all cousins of the bride.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held in the church fellowship hall.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 2 at Woodard's in Jackson.
Mrs. O'Neal is a junior at Murray State University in Murray, Ky., majoring in fine arts.
The groom is a senior at the university, majoring in music education. He is minister of music at First Missionary Baptist Church in Benton, Ky.
After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Murray.
