JACKSON, Mo. -- Caroline Rose Pickens and Eric Brian Hoxworth were married Sept. 16, 2000, at First Baptist Church in Marble Hill, Mo. The Rev. Fred Ritter performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Marilyn Baker of Marble Hill.
Parents of the couple are Elmer and LaWanda Macke of Jackson and Kenny and Gloria Hoxworth of Marble Hill.
Honor attendants were Phyllis Ruesler of Friedheim, Mo., and Paula Thompson of Fruitland, Mo., sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Brandy Macke, niece of the bride; Jesse Pickens, daughter of the bride, both of Millersville; Mo., and Brandi Gromer of Marble Hill.
Michael Hiett of Jackson served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Gary Gromer of Marble Hill; James Thompson of Fruitland, nephew of the bride; Lucas Wilfong of Marble Hill, cousin of the groom; and Walter Ruesler of Friedheim, nephew of the bride. Ushers were Brad Thompson of Fruitland, brother-in-law of the bride, and Rodney Beard of Marble Hill, cousin of the groom.
Lacey Ruesler of Friedheim, niece of the bride, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at Route 25 Hall. Servers were Evelynn Fox of Marble Hill, cousin of the groom, and Paula McAlister of Chaffee, Mo.
The bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 15 at Delmonico's.
Mrs. Hoxworth is a graduate of Jackson High School. She is an inspector at Thorngate Ltd. in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a graduate of Woodland High School. He is a cell technician at Dana Corp. in Cape Girardeau.
The couple resides in Millersville.
