Hanover Lutheran Church was the setting Sept. 30, 2000, for the wedding of Jennifer Lynne Petzoldt and Roger Lee Kiplinger. The Rev. Jeffrey Sippy performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Matt Yount.

Parents of the couple are Lynn and Debbie Petzoldt of Cape Girardeau, and Norman and Sally Kiplinger of Millersville, Mo.

Maid of honor was Natasha Jordan of Tamms, Ill. Bridesmaids were Annie Petzoldt of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride, and Rita Shell of Marble Hill, Mo.

Ron Kiplinger of Eureka, Mo., served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Justin Pattengill of Benton, Mo., and Chris Taormina of Jackson, Mo. Ushers were Robert Petzoldt, brother of the bride, and Daniel Smiley, both of Cape Girardeau.

Flower girls were Katie Culver and Kelsey Kiplinger. Katie is the daughter of Mike and Tina Culver of Cape Girardeau and cousin of the bride. Kelsey is the daughter of Ron and Lisa Kiplinger and niece of the groom.

Candlelighter was Matthew Petzoldt of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride.

Melissa Brown of Cape Girardeau attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at Drury Lodge.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 29 at the home of the bride and groom.

Mrs. Kiplinger is a 1996 graduate of Central High School. She received an associate's degree in nursing from Shawnee Community College in 1999. She is a registered nurse at the Lutheran Home.

The groom is a 1995 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry from Southeast Missouri State University in 1999. He is employed at Biokyowa Inc.

The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
