JACKSON, Mo. Gina Marie Parenteau and Benjamin Paul Bishop were married March 10, 2001, at La Croix United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Ron Watts performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Aimee Keillor of Jackson, sister of the bride. Soloist was Christy Hency of Benton, Mo.

Parents of the couple are Wayne and Rhonda Parenteau and Joe and Nancy Bishop, all of Jackson.

Aimee Keillor was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Tara Parenteau, sister of the bride; Kara Whitledge and Erica Trickey, all of Jackson.

Best man was Steven Keele of Cape Girardeau. Groomsmen were John O'Dean of Galesburg, Ill.; Kenny Hency of Benton; and Ryan Parenteau of Jackson, brother of the bride. Ushers were Steven Keele and Ryan Parenteau.

Candlelighter was Molly Bishop, sister of the groom.

Ringbearer was Austin Keillor, son of Aimee Keillor and Michael Keillor and nephew of the bride.

Anna Bishop, sister of the groom, attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Immaculate Conception Church.

The groom's mother and the women of the church hosted the rehearsal dinner March 9 at La Croix Church.

Mrs. Bishop received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at PRN Urgent Care.

The groom served five years in the U.S. Army. He is employed at Dana Corp.

The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
