JACKSON, Mo. -- Heather Nicole Oxley and Joseph Andrew Grojean were married May 20, 2000, at Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis. Johnny Gipson performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Evelyn Oxley of Jackson, and the late Terry Oxley. The groom is the son of Faye and Scott Powell of Cape Girardeau, and Dale and Donna Fort of Paragould, Ark.

Maid of honor was Christy Littlepage of Scott City, Mo. Bridesmaids were Shannon Hood of Scott City, and Tiffany Grojean of Sikeston, Mo., sister of the groom.

Roger Manwaring Jr. of St. Louis served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Grojean of St. Louis and Chris Grojean of Omaha, Neb., brothers of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Holiday Inn in Cape Girardeau. Servers were Ashley Elliott of Whitewater, Mo., and DeAndrea Jones of Fairhope, Ala., cousins of the bride.

Mrs. Grojean is a 1995 graduate of Jackson High School. She is employed at Dillard's in Tulsa, Okla.

The groom is a 1993 graduate of Sikeston High School. He is employed by Dickinson Theatres in Tulsa.

The couple resides in Tulsa.
