JACKSON, Mo. -- Kristin Dawn Owens and Travis Michael Perr were married May 6, 2000, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The Rev. Robert Henrichs performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Orville Perr Jr. of Jackson, and soloist was Karen Cunningham of Lincoln, Ill., cousins of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Morris Owens and Eva Owens of Jackson. Harlan and Lavanda Perr of Jackson are parents of the groom.
Robin Godwin of Cape Girardeau was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Christy Carroll of Jackson, Katie Meyers of Cape Girardeau, and Sherry Kenkel of Jackson.
Best man was Steve Ruppel of Cape Girardeau. Groomsmen were Kevin Owens of Jackson, brother of the bride; Airek Beauchamp of Cape Girardeau, and Sam Brewer of Jackson. Ushers were Kevin Coe of Jackson, brother-in-law of the groom, and Justin Vanderpool of Norman, Okla.
Junior bride was Taylor Coe, daughter of Kevin and Kris Coe and niece of the groom. Junior groom was Cody Frohawk, son of Ronnie and Dee Wren of Jackson.
Flower girl was Chelsie Carroll, daughter of Christy Carroll and niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Hunter Coe, son of Kevin and Kris Coe and nephew of the groom.
Candlelighters were Kim Perr and Kris Coe of Jackson, sisters of the groom.
Melissa Webb attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Jackson Elks Lodge. Servers were Dee Wren, Kirsten Olliver and Tammy Welker.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 5 at the church.
Mrs. Perr is a 1994 graduate of Jackson High School. She is employed at Neurologic Associates of Cape Girardeau Inc.
The groom is a 1992 graduate of Jackson High School. He received bachelor of science and bachelor of arts degrees from Southeast Missouri State University in 1997. He is employed at CSPrinting in Cape Girardeau.
The couple resides in Jackson.
