SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Sarah Jane Noon and Anthony Britt Mirgaux were married June 24, 2000, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo. The Rev. Oliver Clavin performed the double ring ceremony.
Organist was Dr. Gary Miller and trumpeter was Dr. Marc Fulgham, both of Cape Girardeau. Soloist was Tamara Brannon of Memphis, Tenn. Quartet Girardeau string quartet also provided music. Organist for the mass was Alissa Vandeven and soloist was Renee Reinagel, both of Kelso.
Lectors were Marie Schimpf of Chaffee, Mo., and Sheryl Bollinger of Cape Girardeau, aunt of the bride. A prayer was read by Susan Rogers of St. Louis, aunt of the bride.
Parents of the couple are James and Sally Noon and Lawrence and Ginger Mirgaux, all of Scott City.
Rachel Noon of Scott City was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan Noon of Kansas City, Mo., sister of the bride; Tabatha Crabtree of St. Louis; Leigh Elfrink of Scott City, cousin of the bride; Tina Heisserer of Kelso, sister of the groom; Janel Gulley of Scott City; Amy Centanni of Cape Girardeau; and Christy Riley of Scott City.
Best man was Jon Wilburn of Scott City. Groomsmen were Matt Venable of Scott City, Gabe Jenkins and David Bertrand of Cape Girardeau, Steve Ledbetter of St. Louis, Gary Kelley of Scott City, Jesse Southern of Cape Girardeau, and Michael Riley of Scott City. Ushers were Corey Heisserer of Kelso, brother-in-law of the groom; Randy Kurtz of Scott City and Bryan Rogers of Dallas, Texas, cousins of the bride.
Flower girl was Kelsey Elfrink, daughter of Josh and Leigh Elfrink and cousin of the bride.
Communion gifts were presented by Dr. James and Sheryl Bollinger and children Matt and Alison, uncle, aunt and cousins of the bride, respectively.
Candlelighter was Alison Bollinger.
Guest book attendants were Ashley Miller of Scott City and Katie Wadlington of St. Louis, cousin of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at Drury Lodge.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 23 at Mollie's.
Mrs. Mirgaux expects to graduate in May 2001 from St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She is employed at Wal-Mart Pharmacy in St. Louis.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He is employed by Arena Football: Black Hills Machine in Rapid City, S.D., as a football player.
After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple is residing in St. Louis.
