Kara Joy Miller and Dennis Robert Stockard were married Jan. 17, 2001, in the Chapel by the Bay at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. The Rev. Sandra L. Robbins performed the double ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Tom and Joyce Miller of Cape Girardeau, and Robert and Velma Stockard of Brentwood, Tenn.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Aureole's in the casino.

Mrs. Stockard received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University.

The couple will reside in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., and Victor, Mont.
