Sheila Lynn Millburg and Matthew Kenneth Hood were married Sept. 30, 2000, at Garden of the Gods Club in Colorado Springs, Colo. The Rev. Harvey Karlsen performed the double ring ceremony. Violinist and pianist Don and Janell Robinson were accompanied by a string quartet.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Tom Millburg of Cape Girardeau, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hood of Colorado Springs.
Matron of honor was Lisa Mohesky of Alpharetta, Ga., sister of the bride. Maid of honor was Kate Hood, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Andrea Gairani of Springfield, Ill., and Kellie Kehrein of Eugene, Ore.
David Hood of Colorado Springs served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Dan Karlsen of Denver, Colo., Kevin Knighten of Colorado Springs, and Lou Spiciatti of Washington, D.C. Ushers were Eric Mohesky of Alpharetta and David Stotts of Colorado Springs.
A reception was held after the ceremony.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Marigold's.
Mrs. Hood is a graduate of Union University in Jackson, Tenn. She is an English teacher in Colorado Springs.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Colorado. He is an architect with Barnes Architect.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in Colorado Springs.
