FRIEDHEIM, Mo. -- Amelia Renee "Amy" McMillan and Jared Paul Cattoor were married Oct. 14, 2000, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim. The Revs. David Burge and Adam Mueller performed the ceremony. Pianists were Dianne and Elizabeth Meyr, organist was Susan Ludwig, and soloist was Holly Thomas. Readers were Sally Roth, aunt of the groom, and Beverly Koenig, aunt of the bride.
Parents of the bride are Marvin and Sharon McMillan of Friedheim. The groom is the son of H. Richard and Nancy Cattoor of Cape Girardeau.
Jessica McMillan of Friedheim was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristen Koenig and Tara Hecht of St. Charles, Mo., cousins of the bride; Christy Buffa of Florissant, Mo., Susan Miller of O'Fallon, Mo., Teri Flacke of Wentzville, Mo., and Julie Gaertner of Imperial, Mo.
The groom chose his brother, Jason Cattoor of Maryland Heights, Mo., as best man. Groomsmen were Dan Ponder of Perryville, Mo.; Steven Hecht of New Wells, Mo., uncle of the bride; Tony Buffa of Florissant; Heath McLane of Oak Ridge, Mo.; Matt Flacke of Wentzville; and Jon McMillan of Friedheim, brother of the bride. Usher was Craig Trapp of St. Charles.
Candlelighters were Shelly Blankenship of St. Louis and Gina Helbig of Maryland Heights.
Flower girl was Madeline Odle, daughter of Derrick and Tessa Odle of Mahomet, Ill., and cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Tyson Stueve, son of Glen and Valerie Stueve and cousin of the bride.
Elizabeth Meyr, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book. Program attendant was Kristi Wells.
A reception followed the ceremony. Servers were Pam Cattoor, aunt of the groom; Sharon Chapman and Marvalene Hecht, aunts of the bride.
Mrs. Cattoor is a 1996 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is a registered nurse, and is a case nurse representative at Express Scripts Pharmacy in St. Charles.
The groom is a 1995 graduate of Ranken Technical College in St. Louis. He is a journeyman wireman at Dickherber Electric Inc. in St. Charles.
After a wedding trip to Antigua, the couple resides in St. Charles.
