WHITEWATER, Mo. -- New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson, Mo., was the setting June 17, 2000, for the wedding of Laura Ann McJunkins and David Lee Bohnsack. The Rev. John Rice performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Linda Thompson of Jackson.
Parents of the bride are David and Catherine McJunkins of Eldon, Mo. The groom is the son of John and Geraldine Bohnsack of Whitewater.
Matron of honor was Justine Richman of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Angela Yinger of Camdenton, Mo., sister of the bride, and Rhonda Windeknecht of Jackson, sister of the groom.
Eric Bohnsack of Whitewater served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Skip Stroder of Whitewater, cousin of the groom, and Michael Bowers of Cape Girardeau. Ushers and candlelighters were Jason McJunkins of Osage Beach, Mo., and Curtis McJunkins of Camdenton, brothers of the bride.
Flower girl was Whitney Lukefahr, daughter of Tim and Susie Lukefahr of Leopold, Mo., and cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Michael Richardson, son of Billy Richardson of Oriole, Mo., and Maryann Floyd of O'Fallon, Mo., and cousin of the bride.
Sarah Watson of Scopus, Mo., cousin of the bride, attended the guest book and handed out programs.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Jackson. Servers were Betty Watson of Scopus and Shirley Richardson of Oriole, aunts of the bride.
The bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner June 16 at the church.
Mrs. Bohnsack is a quality control leader at Quality Packaging Inc. in Jackson.
The groom is an electrician at MSI Electric in Jackson.
The couple resides in Whitewater.
